Podcast you should listen to
Posted in Music on June 1st, 2007 by drewciferFor a long time I have been trying to find a podcast that specializes in weird underground metal, hardcore, doom and noise. I have finally found one that I really enjoy and it’s hosted by a member of one of my favorite bands Neurosis, Scott Kelly. Ironically enough it is also a podcast that spends a considerable amount of time talking about Mixed Martial Arts (MMA – see my earlier post). It’s called Combat Music Radio and it consists of 3 different hosts but my favorite host by far is Scott Kelly. His song selection is exactly what I have been looking for in a podcast. Thanks to him I have been turned onto Monarch a great doom drone band from France.
Lord T and Eloise are coming
Posted in Music, Running on April 6th, 2007 by drewciferWent on a short run this evening around the 2 bridges. Not a very long run but it was more than most people ran today. My wife and 2 of her friends left early this morning for a weekend trip to NYC. Looks like the boys have the weekend free. Saturday night there is going to be a good show at Rhythm and Brews, Lord T and Eloise will be bringing the sounds of Aristocrunk back to the city of Chattanooga.
